The Lion Hunts in the Land of Kachoo

R140.00 R70.00

In the heart of Africa lies the Land of Kachoo, with vast open plains and deep rivers, too. Animals roam freely in their wild domain through forests and grasslands and rocky terrain. Big cats and rhino and Thomson’s gazelle, elephant and zebra – they live here as well. The sights and the sounds in the Land of Kachoo are uniquely African and will remain with you. The roar of the lions on a starlit night and the echo of hooves running away in fright or the call of the fish eagle in the African sun are sounds to signal your safari’s begun.

On a starry night under the light of the moon a lion hunts with his bowl and his spoon. He’s on the prowl for something to eat, something more meaty than a midnight treat. Lion stalks his prey and puts his hunting skills to the test. Will Lion enjoy his midnight fest or will something more frightening end his quest?

Come and explore this land, if you dare. A wild African adventure awaits you in there!

Author Information

Tina Scotford's Kachoo books are her first published works and are inspired by her travels to exotic bush destinations including the Serengeti, Lake Tarangire and the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania; Chobe and the Okavango Delta in Botswana; and South Africa's Kruger National Park, Hluhluwe and Klaserie game reserves. Frans Groenewald studied at the University of Stellenbosch where he obtained his BA (FA) (Graphic Design) and BA (FA) (Photography) with distinction.
