Morabo Morojele, a jazz drummer, has played with Sibongile Khumalo at Ronnie Scott’s in London and performed with Abdullah Ibrahim and Winston Mankunku Ngozi. Raised in Lesotho, Ethiopia and Italy, he studied in Eswatini, the UK and in the Netherlands.

Morabo Morojele, a gifted and much sought-after jazz drummer, has been a fixture on the local and international jazz scene for many years. He toured with Sibongile Khumalo, played at Ronnie Scott’s in London and recorded with Abdullah Ibrahim and Winston Mankunku Ngozi. Son of a UN official he was raised in Ethiopia, Italy and Lesotho. He has degrees from the London School of Economics and the Institute of Social Studies in The Hague and has worked in the development sector in Lesotho and South Africa. |
