Ben Turok (born 1927) is a former anti-apartheid activist and current South African member of parliament and a member of the African National Congress. This veteran ANC MP broke party ranks and did not vote for the controversial Protection of Information Bill, or the Secrecy Bill, in November 2011. He was reprimanded by the party. In 2013 he was head of the parliamentary ethics committee that investigated the cabinet minister Dina Pule and found her guilty on charges of corruption.
