The Jacana Literary Foundation (JLF) is a not-for-profit organisation that seeks to promote and foster writing excellence from South and southern Africa through a number of initiatives. By securing funding for key projects, the JLF aims to publish literature that might not otherwise be published for purely commercial reasons. This allows the JLF's publishing partner, Jacana Media, to produce literature that supports the concept of bibliodiversity. We believe that it is through the reading and writing of local creative works that the truths of our lives are best told. The Other Foundation is an African trust that supports those who are working to protect and advance the rights, wellbeing and social inclusion of people of all sexual orientations and gender identities for lasting change. If you are ordering from a country outside of South Africa, please complete your purchase as directed. You will then be contacted by one of our admin team to arrange shipping and delivery to wherever needed.
December Holiday Season
Our last, full (24hr) trading day is 22 December 2020 and we’ll be back to work 6 January 2021. Any orders placed between 18 December 2020 and 5 January 2021 will only be despatched from the warehouse on our return.
