Zapiro Annual 2026: The Long Arm of the Law (Forthcoming title, Preorder Available now)
R250.00
The Long Arm of the Law is the 31st annual collection of Zapiro’s legendary cartoons.
Nobody captures the zeitgeist with humour and bite like the award-winning Zapiro. The last year in South Africa and the world has offered rich pickings for his sharp eye and wicked pen. The Madlanga Commission has showcased the marvellously named Vusimusi ‘Cat’ Matlala as chief villain and a crony cast of crooked cops whose skulduggery is wilder than even lifelong sceptics thought possible. Sisisi Tolashe (the one with the Chinese SUVs) is fired and replaced by someone fired from the cabinet 13 years ago for equally dodgy dealings. Trump got caught in the Straitjacket of Hormuz. Panyaza Lesufi suffers the Joburg water crisis in a hotel bath. Helen Zille snorkels in potholes, petrol costs more than caviar, the Phala Phala couch haunts Cyril and the government’s AI policy is full of hallucinations after being generated by … AI! Once again, Zapiro never lacks for inspiration.
